In version RC2.9, you can craft items by having the applicable items in your main inventory, that is, out of any containers, and right-clicking on one of them. You can then see all items craftable with that item from your current materials in a pop-up menu. Note that the list of recipes below was created for pre-RC2.9 versions, and thus not all of them may be applicable any more. Also note that Erasmus Crowley's new crafting system was implemented into the game. One of it's biggest features being the way water is handled. This means that recipes that require a pot of water now require an empty pot and an amount of water in a separate container (which will be shown in the recipes as drops of water, one for each cup, when implemented into the wiki).

In pre-RC 2.9 versions, you can craft items from other items you find in the game world. First open the [[inventory]] by pressing '''space bar''' or clicking on the cardboard box icon on the upper left. Now click on the hammer-and-nails icon in the bottom of the inventory bar to open the crafting menu. Drag the items you want to use into the top slots, and click on the resulting item in the bottom slot to craft the item.
Here you can find a list of all '''crafting''' recipes in Project Zomboid.

How To Craft

See Carpentry for information about building structures.
