Hosting a Project Zomboid Dedicated can be done in Windows and Linux. To get started download the server files from your steam client.

1. Go to your Library and then Tools.
2. Scroll until you see "Project Zomboid Dedicated Server" and download/install it.

Ok from there you can just run the dedicated server and it will run with default settings.

• Windows: In the installed Folder Use the batch file provided to start the server in either 32/64 bit (StartServer32.bat/StartServer64.bat)
• Linux: in the installed folder type this in the terminal, bash start-server.sh
