A metal crate is a craftable container.

Usage

A metal crate is used as a means of item storage, with a capacity of 80 weight. They can be stacked up to three high, giving 240 capacity, the maximum for a single tile.

A metal crate, like any other container, can be destroyed by a sledgehammer. If it is destroyed, all of its contents will spill onto the floor. Furthermore, any crates stacked on top of that crate will fall down.

Crafting

Crafting requires a Metalworking skill of 4.

How to Craft: Right click on the world to open the menu to Craft the Metal Crate via Metalwork > Containers > Metal Crate. Requires Propane Torch and Welding Rods in your inventory (or bags you have equipped) to show the Metalwork option in menu. You also need to have all ingredients with you to craft metal crate, their presence in nearby containers is not enough.
