Riverside is a small town in Knox Country. The town was home to many of the wealthy citizens of Knox Country, with the less fortunate residents living in the Scenic Grove Mobile Park, situated in the outskirts.

Riverside is available as a starting location and is situated next to the Ohio River, making it a great area for players who want a adequate water supply and/or fish regularly. Some points of interest in Riverside include a small police station, a motel, a school, a hardware store, a well gated residential community, and various other businesses. It is the westernmost town on the map, and is located near West Point.

Riverside is the second lowest zombie population starting town, with only Rosewood having less. As a result, this town is a great town to start in for new players. The abundance of stores and residential areas offer a plethora of places to loot and live in. The only thing Riverside is lacking in are firearms. The police station's armory is small and requires the player to either have a key or break the door down. Otherwise, melee weapons can be found in the hardware store, books can be found in the post office, school, and an office building on the outskirts, and food can be found in a large supermarket and any of the homes in the area.
