So far I kept the videos, but I'll think how best would be to include them… TF2 wiki have a lot of YouTube videos for example, though we're not in the stage to do that yet outselves as it's a lot of work to keep. Project Locations and Maps

Hi, I noticed you're the main admin around here. I wanted to thank you for shouting me out on the news section. On top of that, I also noticed that User:Ikip created a bunch of pages for the missing locations. I will do the cleanups for the Riverside locations, to save you a bit of work. I'm focused on there anyway.

Also, I noticed that User:Pohly is the leader of Locations and Maps, but they don't seem to be very active anymore. Maybe it's time to elect a new leader? I don't know, just something that popped in my mind.

Heyo, my name is Kate and I am the founder of the Independent Fallout Wiki (over yonder!). A few members of our community (including my kids) recommended your wiki as one we should reach out to in order to partner up with.

The Independent Fallout Wiki split off from the corporately hosted wiki to give independence a whirl on April 7, 2022 (founding date twinsies!) One of our goals is to strengthen relationships between other independent wikis, as our community has interests that span beyond Fallout and are excited to check out other independent sites. But there's probably a site in internet that is able to do that, it would be something like: upload 4 images, it places them side by side, maybe even configurable. Then you just download the image, in the worse scenario, you'll have to screenshot it.

If there's not a site to do that, I may be able to create the code to do so. Keep me updated :)

But if it is needed to align them diagonally, it'll be way harder.

nvm, they not only are diagonally aligned, but also only in certain parts of the image.

It may be needed to use a site to get them from the png, then use another site to mesh them.

Yes, it is rough placeholder. unforuntately i set up each section of the template to show up dependant on the photo line.

It can be changed, but if we changed it to town t1 t2 t3 there would be numerous blank louisville lines. Currently, I like having extras hidden in case i find new locations, it is easy to plugin.

There are not to many new ones left, but if there is new ones i create, and there is a prefered way you want me to add them (without extra paragraph lines for example, which i see you are removing), let me know. This will help saving time with cleaning up.

Yes, everything that is on the official map is accessible, including this location: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#15439x1313 however these new locations have no cars, no foraging zones and lack features. FANDOM and Wikipedia are separate, though the owner of FANDOM originally created Wikipedia. Anyway, digressing, for debug mode, the article should explain most of the stuff, you can enable some stuff to help with asserting drop location. Coding corrections

Some of your corrections dont change what the end user sees. For example template:header to template:Header

Often I feel sorry for you correcting these issues the end user never sees, so I correct them first.

We had discussion about it with another editor (forgot who was it). On PCGW they correct it when other changes are made with AWB, but we came to the conclusion that here with the small wiki we are, it doesn't hurt correcting them. I often look at the page from the code side while at it ;). The main benefit I guess is we'll have uniform layout when folks copy things over (which happens a lot naturally, obviously), sometimes when I already am on an editing window when patrolling changes and I push them, but generally something a bot could do eventually, and yeah, it's of low importance. Yeah, I had them on my watchlist backlog. Template:Translation problem

Hi, I encountered some problems when using https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Template:Translation, it is advised to use it, but adding new entries increases preprocessor visited node count exponentially even exceeding it sometimes, so some big pages can't load correctly, like https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Items. Is it a bug or it works as intended? Thanks.

There are over 300 pages with the clear tag although some are locations, many of them clothes that you added also.

Yes, the clear is no longer needed now that it's automatically added by the core navbox template, I did mention it before, they are safe to remove now :). Not much priority though. —Faalagorn ☎/✓ 21:33, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

False Removal of how charcoal can be made?

Hey, I noticed that the Charcoal page didn't say that it was not obtainable, so I added that in.
(I'm *slightly* new to editing here) I then looked at the history and found that you removed that part and considering you seem to have done quite some help here, I wonder why that is?
I might have missed sth, if so, please tell me!

Actually, it seems that it was User:Calvy that removed it in https://pzwiki.net/w/index.php?title=Charcoal&type=revision&diff=217753&oldid=214921 – are you sure it can be obtained that way without mods? Metal drum is not something you get in a regular gameplay, it can only be spawned in the debug mode. —Faalagorn ☎/✓ 22:05, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
