The first few days are regular broadcasts covering the Knox Event, including a live correspondent at the border of the exclusion zone. It covers the official story given to the media by the government and includes multiple statements given by General John McGrew, and the President of the United States. Over time, the news team become more skeptical of the story given.

One broadcast sees the live correspondent Richard Gershwin panicked to the camera trying to explain that the military had began firing on people at the border of the exclusion zone before he is quickly stopped by military personnel shutting off the camera. When Richard returns later the same day he claims that he was bitten by "This huge wave of... They're dead, Diane". He explains there were thousands of them until he is interrupted by gunfire. Richard's last known words are "The Knox Event has been compromised Diane! Compromised! GO BACK TO HELL YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

A new road team is sent out to cover the event, they report that there is max exodus from the area. Diane is distracted by a Triple-N report that the Knox Infection is now spreading without bites.

The last known broadcast of WBLN News is a segment of 'Talk the Night' speaking to Reverend Peter Watts.

We found a driver from a town called West Point.
He told us he'd take is in to find the truth.

We went cross-country in his pick-up but...

We were picked up pretty much instantly.
I was in cells overnight. No closer to the truth.

Richard does also appear on the tape Shows, talking about the Raleigh Outbreak, emergency services not coping, hospitals being on lockdown, and the military not acting up.
The morning after turning on the TV in WBLM Channel on July 15, After the last transmission from Richard, another reporter that will now be transmitted is Mike during only until the afternoon of the 15th. After that, contact with him is lost, or not transmitted anymore on WLBM. Richard and Mike still don't have zombified characters that we can find them, as all the unlocked outfits indicate, and neither does pastor Samuels yet.
