Alaskan Gulf Documentary is a unique VHS providing some lore and dialogue.

Overview

The player can reduce boredom by -5 for each line of dialog when in the vicinity of a television playing the VHS.

The VHS can be used with an appropriate television to play the what seems to be German dialogue of a customer and hotel employee about the room service. The employee brings their breakfast in but the customer complains that they ordered a sausage pizza. The conversation goes on and on about ordering various other food items, finally revealing the nature of the tape as some sort of entartainment show. At the begginning of the tape, documentary about the Alaskan Gulf ecological disaster was being narrated.

Effective chance calculations are based off of default 'apocalypse' loot settings, with no luck modifier, and average zombie density. The higher the density of zombies in an area, the higher the effective chance of an item spawning. Chance is also influenced by the lucky and unlucky traits. Duplicate entries do exist, but have been removed for clarity.

• The Gulf of Alaska oil spill disaster, casued by Fossoil, is may be a reference to the real life Exxon Valdez oil spill catastrophe, which is regarded as one of the largest environmental disasters in world history.
