Reduces unhappiness over sustained periods

Antidepressants are a drainable item used in first aid.

Usage

Using antidepressants reduces the player's unhappiness over a long period of time, taking them first time, or after their effect had fully worn off will have a two hour wait untill they can have any effect. Using them multiple times in a row does not stack the effect, but merely resets their active timer.

Unhappiness reduces inventory transfer speed and weapon equip speed. Because of this, players should not rely on them if they find themselves needing to reduce unhappiness.

Effective chance calculations are based off of default 'apocalypse' loot settings, with no luck modifier, and average zombie density. The higher the density of zombies in an area, the higher the effective chance of an item spawning. Chance is also influenced by the lucky and unlucky traits. Duplicate entries do exist, but have been removed for clarity.

Trivia

  • They currently have the same model as beta blockers.
  • The company written on the lid of the pill model, Binky is a reference to one of the Project Zomboid developers, CaptainBinky.
  • The actual model used in-game is exported wrong with the texture rotated 90°.
