“ | “Breaking News. The Knox Event infection is sweeping through Louisville.” |
— Diane, WBLN News |
Louisville is a city within Knox Country. It is currently the largest settlement in Project Zomboid's Knox Country map, with multiple different suburbs ranging from tall highrises to more seedy, rundown districts. As a major urban area, it has many commercial areas, with massive amounts of supplies to be had - but a proportionally high population count means the area is swarming with the walking dead. It is also host to a number of large, specialized buildings, such as a major hospital, a sprawling police station, and a mega-mall.
The city is surrounded by fences with an evacuation camp located at one of the entrances. Due to the quarantine, Louisville isn't available as a spawn location due to the city canonically remaining zombie-free until July 14, which is 5 days after the default start date.
