General

Overview

The player can reduce boredom by -5 for each line of dialog when in the vicinity of a television playing the VHS.

The VHS can be used with an appropriate television to play the dialogue of co-casters, Tim and Victor, commentating the match between Mothballs and Honey Bears. Mothballs are the host, as the match is held in Mothball Stadium. This match is an absolute catastrophy for the Mothballs, not only because they now lost 5 times in a row, and lost at their home, but also with the score of 2-12.

Transcript

Victor:
A light dusting of snow on the ground here at Mothball Stadium...

...but otherwise a perfect day for our big game, the Mothballs versus the Honey Bears.

Tim:
That's right, Victor. The Mothballs really need to win this one...

...or Patrick Pecker could be out as manager.

The Mothballs have lost seven of the nine games so far this season...

...and have lost the last four in a row.

Victor:
Safe to say, it could be mothballs for Pecker, Tim.

Tim:
And Caleb adds to his league-leading hit total.

That's number 28 so far.

Victor:
Djikstra's reached third, and...

Tim:
Only the fourth and the Mothballs are already down 5-1.

Victor:
I can only imagine what's going through Pecker's head right now.

Tim:
That's strike three for Sigmundsson.

Victor:
And there we have it folks. 2-12 to the Honey Bears.

Tim:
I think a lot of folks would feel sorry for Pecker...

...if the game of December 8 never happened.

Victor:
That was what the Army would call "conduct unbecoming".

Pecker might still cling on, Tim...

Tim:
I don't think so. I'd be surprised if he's in the dugout next week.

Effective chance calculations are based off of default 'apocalypse' loot settings, with no luck modifier, and average zombie density. The higher the density of zombies in an area, the higher the effective chance of an item spawning. Chance is also influenced by the lucky and unlucky traits. Duplicate entries do exist, but have been removed for clarity.

Trivia

The game of December 8 which the caster mentions is the Rangers v. Mothballs 12.8.90 home VHS tape.
The Riverside Rangers and Z Hurricanes baseball team players can be encountered during gameplay. They can be distinguished from baseball fans with the baseball helmet they wear. The players can be encounted during the Baseball survivor story. The baseball fans can be stumbled upon at anywhere in the game, but they can most commonly be found in buildings that spawn with Football Night survivor story.
