Rangers v. Mothballs 12.8.90 is a unique VHS, containing an eventful baseball match.

The player can reduce boredom by -5 for each line of dialog when in the vicinity of a television playing the VHS.

The VHS can be used with an appropriate television to play the dialogue of co-casters, Tim and Victor, commentating the match between Rangers and Mothballs. Rangers are the host. Mothballs lose the game, and their coach, Patrick Pecker, steps in to the field and argues with umpire (arbiter). It is understood that Mothballs aren't having a good season.

Victor:
You join us here on a bright winter's day for our game...

...between the Riverside Rangers and the Mothballs.

Tim:
The diamond's frozen out there, Victor.

I can see frost sparkling in the outfield.

Victor:
Joe Johnson steps to the plate...

Tim:

Tim:
I'm no psychologist, but that looks like frustration over the Mothballs' poor season so far...

Victor:
Well, that's not the type of game we like to see folks.

Victory for the Rangers, but this game's going to be remembered...

...for Pecker's performance in the fifth.

Tim:
Pecker looks like a man at the end of his tether, Victor.

Thank God the day's so cold or things could have reached boiling point.

Victor:

Effective chance calculations are based off of default 'apocalypse' loot settings, with no luck modifier, and average zombie density. The higher the density of zombies in an area, the higher the effective chance of an item spawning. Chance is also influenced by the lucky and unlucky traits. Duplicate entries do exist, but have been removed for clarity.

This VHS will only spawn once and only in living room shelves, making it incredibly rare.

The Riverside Rangers and Z Hurricanes baseball team players can be encountered during gameplay. They can be distinguished from baseball fans with the baseball helmet they wear. The players can be encounted during the Baseball survivor story. The baseball fans can be stumbled upon at anywhere in the game, but they can most commonly be found in buildings that spawn with Football Night survivor story.
