TV repair is a unique VHS providing an advanced guide for repairing TVs.

Overview

The player can reduce boredom by -5 for each line of dialog when in the vicinity of a television playing the VHS.

The VHS can be used with an appropriate television to play the monologue of Paul, a skilled technician teaching the player how to repair TVs, TV parts, the function of each individual part. The information given in here is partially applicable to the game itself. This VHS is the only other piece of recorded media that gives electrical XP to the player.

Paul:

I'm Paul. Let's get straight into it.
First, if your Television's not working, make sure it's plugged in.
You'd be surprised how many don't check.
If you're certain there's something wrong, plug it out before dismantling it.
Get your screwdriver and undo the casing's screws.
If it's not receiving a signal, the amplifier or the receiver chip...
...might be the problem.
If there's nothing at all on the screen but you have audio...
...your picture tubes are probably the problem.
Picture but no audio means we'll have to get in at the speakers...
No picture, no audio, even when plugged in...
...that's a power chip problem.
And if everything's working but you're getting no signal...
...check your aerial.
Check with your neighbors to make sure their signal is...
