Locations

It'd be reasonable to get rid of the 'locations' subheader here in light of v0.1.5. Perhaps a 'storylines' subheader since the raider still exists in the "Til Death Us Do Part" story mode. However, the Gun Nut archetype is used for the numerous NPCs that load during the game now, in no particular location. Warlordpompey 05:11, 29 August 2011 (BST)

NPC Names

The names of all NPCs are randomized, these subheadings should not contain names. Warlordpompey 23:15, 11 September 2011 (BST)

The names of the two NPCs in "'Til Death Do Us Part" are always the same, Bobby Collins being the tutorial house raider and Jack Bloggs being the looter patrolling inside the grocery store. You can also check the scripts in the Project Zomboid/media/stories/KateBaldspot folder, I believe the characters are defined in setup.txt. --DUMBELLS 03:43, 14 September 2011 (BST)

Gun Nut

Gun Nut should be changes to Raiders. The Devs have defined them as such in announcements, blogs, and forums. Where did Gun Nut come from? -- Rachealica December 28, 2011 8:00 CST

Also, do they drop items when they die? I thought their bodies just serve as containers. Rachealica December 28, 2011 8:14 CST

Defining 'NPCs'

The article for Jackie Jaye redirects to this page, as she's technically a non-playable character. But this appears to be an article about a very past legacy version of Survivor NPCs.

Perhaps we should rename this article to "NPCs (Legacy)" and create a disambiguation category for the term "NPC". We could define NPCs differently depending on if we're discussing characters featured on TV and Radio, legacy NPC survivors, and the upcoming NPC update; and have separate articles for each one. This would help avoid confusion between what is being talked about when we mention "NPCs" in other articles.

EDIT: In addition, these other discussions are over 10 years old. Maybe some cleanup is in order. --XelaThing November 22, 2022 @ 14:24 EST

Is all the NPC legacy information gone?

I noticed that the older version of this page is deleted, [1], if the legacy NPC information is still available, there should be a link at top of the page for people to find this interesting page. Ikip (talk) 20:01, 10 October 2023 (BST)

Following a brief discussion with Vaileasys on the publid pzwiki_editing chat in Discord about splitting Survivor and NPC (which is a general page now), all the relevant information was moved to the Survivor now, including the legacy parts, specifically the Legacy survivors that's here to stay – I tried to move everything there, but let me know if anything is missing! —Faalagorn/ 20:26, 10 October 2023 (BST)
nice job! keep up the good work! Ikip (talk) 20:56, 10 October 2023 (BST)
