Reworking for Build 41

I have done a significant pass over this page for B41, including removing references to Skill Points, grammar changes, etc. I have additionally gone ahead and included some more clarification and details in a few spots regarding how experience is gained for some skills. Please hit me up here, or create a talk page for me for any requests for more information you would like me to include or changes to be made if you don't feel like doing it yourself. Shouldn't we at least wait for b41 to enter production? Currently this proposed edit is misleading for a lot of MP b40.43 players who use the wiki for char builds. The difference is significant for skills.
I'd vote for creation of a separate skill page for b41 or include b41 specific info after b40 main info with explicit warning that new info is for unstable b41 only to prevent confusion for current players.

This was certainly a consideration I had, and attempted to bring up in PZwiki_talk:Community_portal. But as no one disagreed with updating the wiki overall to build 41 within a week, and one person agreed, I proceeded to update the page.
If I had hard data on what builds people were playing, I could tailor any edits of the wiki for that build, and have a TODO if a significant portion of players were on the old build...
Since we don't have that information though...I went with the most recent build's information.
You're certainly welcome to copy this page to make a Build 41 Skills page and revert my changes(maybe include a link to it on the Skills page).

I'm actually welcome of the change; better start to update to B41 now, so it's pretty much done once MP hits. I had the same motivation to not to do job twice for Tiles, though I do get that some people still play on B40 for the multiplayer (though it will get redundant sooner or later). Either way, the old version of the page is available here. I also know that MP isn't there yet, but you wrote Increases when player hits zombies – what about the players? Be it split screen or mod? (or MP eventually, though obviously while it can't be tested I think it's the same as NPC mods or split screen)? —Faalagorn/ 23:51, 22 May 2021 (BST)
Well, players use the same bodydamage and character code that zombies do, but I'm waiting for the MP update to confirm there's no actual difference. I suspect that XP will be handled exactly the same once multiplayer's released. So we'd want to clarify the page that it's "increases when you strike an enemy with (weapontype)" or something similar. Sounds good, not sure if this can be tested on co-op, but it's best to wait for proper MP testing, especially as some changes are definitely to be included. —Faalagorn/ 13:24, 30 May 2021 (BST)
