RE:How can the wiki be improved?

Firstly, thanks for your suggestions on the steam thread, they were all very good points.

The best thing about a wiki is that your spelling, grammar and even page format don't really matter, getting the info is more important because anyone can fix your mistakes.

About the How To's, I've worked on some help pages specifically for editors, they can be found here: Help:Contents. I've also been adding documentation to a lot of the templates so they can actually be used and not lost with whoever created them 5 years ago. Recipes specifically is a complicated one, it took me a while to finally understand how it worked, as well we can't add anymore to the lookup otherwise the entire page will crash. But I am working on a replacement (hopefully) which contains a lot more info and is a lot neater imo, an example can be found here: Template:Recipe Carpentry (the main template used is actually one that was made in 2013 and had no documentation).

I've added the community portal talk page to my watchlist, so you can add a new topic there about anything related to the wiki and I'll see it (you also have me on steam).

The other editing things you mentioned, some are hidden somewhere in those help pages, but I'll look at improving the style guide (needs an admin). I also hope to revive the community projects page so we can easily keep track of what everyone is working on (also needs an admin).

As for your suggestions, I'll make note of them for now and eventually add it all to the community portal so anyone can work on them. Also, check out the items page for the most up-to-date info.
