CGE Corp (C.G.E. Corp) the abandoned factory located at the western edge of the abandoned town, west of Riverside. The factory is seemingly abandoned and does not offer much in loot other than some office supplies and a small amount of factory loot.

Layout

CGE Corp is made of 2 buildings with 3 floors, connected at the second floor with a bridge. The factory sports 3 empty warehouse rooms, 4 bathrooms, 11 office rooms, 3 maintenance closets, a generator room, a break room, and an old elevator. The first floor consists of a large open area, with little to no containers in the area. There is also a broken elevator, some restrooms, an office, a boiler room, and a storage room. The second floor has an observatory room, a catwalk, and one small office. However, this floor has a skybridge on the easternmost end, connecting the main building to a warehouse. On the third and final floor, there is a small cafeteria, some offices, and a storage room.

Safehouse

CGE Corp can turn into an interesting safe house with some tidying up.

Pros Cons
  • Little to no zombies in the area.
  • Big empty room with garage doors to store vehicles.
  • Lots of space to work with.
  • Flat roof that can be accessed via breaking a wall on the third floor.
  • Has trash, debris, cracks, graffiti, and burn marks, some are unremovable.
  • Far from any points of interest.
  • Far from natural water sources.
  • At least 3rd carpentry level is required to rebuild missing doors.

Trivia

  • Due to the state of the abandoned town CGE corp resides in, it's very possible the town was a job town, where all the residents in the town lived next to their workplace. However, one day CGE Corp shut down, which resulted in all the population leaving.
  • Considering the older infrastructure of the building, such as the elevators, it's likely the business shut down around the 1950s.
