Template Documentation

This template is to be used on templates' {{documentation}} pages or within <noinclude>...</noinclude> for templates that are used occasionally or may often have zero transclusions.

Usage

Parameters

magicword

Can be used on templates that are substituted for a magic word. It will replace "tool or script" with "magic word" and add "Magic words should be written with a colon : instead of a pipe |".

hidecat

Can be used to remove adding the template to Category:Transclusionless templates.

It is substituted by a magic word. Magic words should be written with a colon : instead of a pipe |.

How to translate

This template doesn't need to/shouldn't be translated, but you can translate the documentation of this template with the following steps:

1. Create a subpage of this template with the language code of the language you want to translate to.
2. Copy the code wrapped in the <noinclude> tag in this template into the page you created.

   {{Translation guide}} template should be removed from the translated documentation.

3. Translate the page according to the translation requirements of normal pages.
