The Ecstacy of Gold
The ecstasy of gold is a unique tile found in Louisville.
Usage
The gold is functionally useless, but can be used as a collector item due to its uniqueness.
Distribution
The gold is located in a mausoleum in the northern part of the Holy Haven Cemetary. It is inside the second chamber to the north (right) side of the table, with the floor cracked in front of it (see pictures below). A sledgehammer is required to break through the chamber and the underlying wall.
Trivia
- The pallet is called "The Ecstacy of Gold", which is believed to be a typo, and a reference to two songs:
- The first is a reference to a song of the same name, The Ecstasy of Gold, used in the 1966 western film, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The song is used in a scene where one of the main characters is desperately searching for a hidden cache of gold coins in a graveyard.
- The second song is by Metallica, called The Ecstacy of Gold, also misspelled with two c's.
