Types of Injuries
- Scratched
This injury can be caused by being scratched by a zombie, smashing a window, or climbing a barbed wire fence. It causes minor health loss and pain. Immediate health loss can be stopped with bandages. If the scratch was caused by a zombie, there is a 25% chance it will lead to death through zombification. This injury causes pain moodles.
- Bleeding
This injury is created with the Scratched or Bitten injury. It creates bleeding moodles. Can be treated by applying bandages to the affected limb. If not treated the player will slowly bleed out, at the same time progressively increasing pain.
- Bitten
This injury is usually received from prolonged contact with multiple zombies. It causes moderate health loss, bleeding and pain and is 96% zombification chances. Even if the immediate health loss is stopped with bandages, the player will still eventually die from zombification. Creates a bleeding injury and pain moodles.
- Scorched
This injury is caused by the player catching fire from the effects of a Molotov Cocktail or the stove burning in the tutorial from the 1.5 era. Currently, this is removed from the game and will be put back when fire is re-implemented.
Other Injuries
When carrying an 'extremely heavy load', walking causes major health loss, which can cause bones to break.
- Fall Damage
Caused from falling from great heights (generally by jumping out a second story window. Causes Severe Damage.
Zombie (pre-alpha)
All zombies have the same amount of health. However, there is no official unit set for a zombie's health.
NPC (pre-alpha)
NPC's health cannot be seen but if he has a status ailment (broken leg, bleeding) they will be displayed on mouse over.
Objects (pre-alpha)
Objects (so far, only the door and the window) have a set amount of health. As the object is attacked (from both zombie and human), the health of the object will slowly diminish until it reaches "0'. Once the health of an object reaches "0", the object will be destroyed instantly, and characters can walk through the remaining frame of the object as if nothing is there.
