Cooking
To begin cooking, you must right-click a Cooking Pot with Water, or a Bowl. If you have ingredients, you will be able to add them.
- Adding 3 of the same ingredients will remove the unhappiness reduction, and will even increase unhappiness if theres more than 3.
Cooking Level
To maximize XP gain, you should read the Cooking skill books first.
- Cooking for Beginners (Levels 1-2)
- Cooking for Intermediate (Levels 3-4)
- Advanced Cooking (Levels 5-6)
- Expert Cooking (Levels 7-8)
- Master Cooking (Levels 9-10)
Benefits
Having a higher level of cooking skill provide some benefits:
- Make the most out of a food item when used as an ingredient.
- For example - While a 0 level chef make a -30 hunger uncooked stew/soup with a Mutton Chop, a higher level chef will be able to make that same mutton chop into a -39 hunger uncooked stew/soup, giving a 10% hunger value in adding ingredients.
- Which means, when the stew/soup is cooked, it will be a -50 hunger stew/soup vs a 0 level chef's -39 hunger, giving a 22% bonus with hunger when cooking.
- For example - While a 0 level chef make a -30 hunger uncooked stew/soup with a Mutton Chop, a higher level chef will be able to make that same mutton chop into a -39 hunger uncooked stew/soup, giving a 10% hunger value in adding ingredients.
- Able to gain more nutrient values out of a food item when used as an ingredient.
