The electrical portion of Project Zomboid is mainly used to create small electrical devices and to operate generators, a source of power once the power cuts out. This is a great thing to do if you have the required fuel to operate it.

To unlock the crafting and use of several different electrical items such as the generator. The skill is leveled by dismantling electronic devices. Each craft gives 1xp. At the moment there is not a skill book for the electrical skill so leveling is time consuming. It is possible to skip the grind by choosing the electrician profession in the character creation menu.
