Skill books are various books which give your character an experience boost after being read. It is best to read them until the bar is near full, then move so it stops and start again until it says all the pages of the book are read for the maximum multiplier. Books for beginners provides a multiplier of up to 18. Books for intermediates does not provide a booster until your skill level is higher and when attempting to do this with a low skill level, your character can be seen with the words "I just don't understand this..." above his/her head when attempting to read it before you skill level is high enough.

When your skill level is at one, the skill books for beginners in unusable. When your skill level is at level two, the skill books for intermediates are then usable. When your skill level is at level three, the skill books for advanced are usable. When your skill level is at level four, then the skill books for experts are usable. When your skill level is at level five, then the skill books for masters are usable. When your skill level reaches five, you have completely mastered the skill.

Farming for Intermediates	An intermediate-level Farming book meant for people who have grown a few crops before. 260 pages long.
Advanced Farming	An advanced Farming book that teaches advanced farmers new tricks. 300 pages long.
Expert Farming	A highly-advanced Farming book that teaches exemplary farmers even more new tricks. 340 pages long.
Master Farming	A Farming book that teaches the tricks of the most proficient farmers. 220 pages long.
