Template Documentation

This userbox displays that the user is a native speaker of a certain language.

Will add the user to certain language category depending on the language code.

Some language message has not been translated yet with a placeholder text:

This language doesn't have a translation yet. You can translate it at User language.

Please help translate it if you can. Currently the userboxes showing on the right are the only ones that have been translated.

It is recommended to add {{User project|Translations}} to the user page as well if the user is also translating the wiki into their language.

Usage

XXX is a native speaker of the English language.

1 ^Required: The language code of the language the user is a native speaker of. Can be one of the supported language on the wiki (ignore case).
hidecat: Usually keep it default. If not empty then it will not add the user to certain language category.

This template doesn't need to/shouldn't be translated, but you can translate the documentation of this template with the following steps:

Create a subpage of this template with the language code of the language you want to translate to.
Copy the code wrapped in the <noinclude> tag in this template into the page you created.
{{Translation guide}} template should be removed from the translated documentation.
Translate the page according to the translation requirements of normal pages.
