The Louisville Police Department and Detention Services is a large police station and prison located in Louisville.
Overview
The Louisville police department and detention services is a very large building that sits in the center of the city. It contains a full police station, with support buildings, and an operating prison. It is one of the largest non-commercial buildings in the game.
Exterior
The exterior of the police station is a dark gray, it is a very modern design and has many windows. It is also directly connected via sky bridges to the Courthouse to the north, more offices to the East, and a city building to the south.
The prison has a brick facade, as well as a fenced in yard for exercise.
Interior
Like the St. Peregrin Hospital, there is a high density of zombies inside the building.
The interior of the police station includes a large waiting room on the top floor. It also has offices and interview rooms. Upstairs are more offices, as well as an armory and storage rooms.
The Prison includes cells on both floors, a kitchen, laundry, some visitor areas, and a break room.
The Eastern building is mostly offices, with some medical facilities available.
All buildings in the area have a high density of zombies that will be attracted if the player makes any noise.

Loot
The police department contains a large armory on the second floor, which is a potential treasure-trove of arms and armor for the player. Accessing the armory will require tools such as a sledgehammer or a hammer and screwdriver. If the player gets lucky, it is possible to find a key to the locked doors on a police zombie.
There is also a small security room that contains weapons inside the prison itself.
There are some medical facilities in the Eastern building that contain first aid supplies.
Many police zombies can be found, which have the chance to spawn with weapons and small amounts of ammo.
Emergency vehicles can spawn surrounding the police department and prison.
