The Eccentric Ape is a game development studio based out of Brisbane, Australia. The studio had been hired to assist with the development of Project Zomboid. Their work on overhauling the animations systems served as a major component of the Build 41 update and also serves as the groundwork for future builds. The Eccentric Ape has also assisted with the development of other games such as real-time strategy game Age of Empires IV, platform game Sackboy: A Big Adventure and many others.
