Translating sidebars

PZwiki:Barnstars‎‎

I have been using them. There is no reason to delete this page. It is not causing any problems on the wiki and the wiki is better with them.. Ikip (talk) 17:10, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

Then complete the following tasks on PZwiki:Tasks:

1. Fix the links which are in wikipedia but not in pzwiki.
2. Improve the barnstars' style to fit the pzwiki instead of wikipedia.
3. Consider whether to merge the PZwiki:Awards with the barnstar or remove one of them. They are duplicated and it is you who request the undelete the PZwiki:Awards.

I have discussed with the wiki admins and decided to keep the barnstar templates for about a week until you improve them. Otherwise I will come to remove them. For me I have no extra energy to use these fancy templates. At least you should only keep one or no more than 5 barnstar templates on this small game wiki.

I'd remove the user awards, unless you want to reutilize them. If barnstars are indeed going to stay, I'd start with only some simple ones and more tailored to PZwiki. We can wait a little more than a week if some more time is needed, though for the scope of our wiki we could as well use something really simple for that, especially as the original awards never really caught up :). —Faalagorn☎/✓ 18:10, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

This is the first time I have seen this message User:Vibrance and User:Faalagorn's response.

"For me I have no extra energy to use these fancy templates." Just because they have no intrinsic value to you personally, does not mean they have any value to the community.

PZwiki:Awards I edited the barnstars, I put the older images (which were duplicate) up for deletion as Faalagorn suggested, I removed the admin barnstars section which was mostly read links. The other barnstars are also applicable to this wiki and can be developed over time for other editors to use other than yourself.

If you are not to busy User:Vibrance can you look at this at your leisure, of course, before editing anything else on this wiki?

Then you'd better pay attention on the talk page you've talked on in case you miss something.

If they have value, they should be more pz-like, but not completely the same as wikipedia's. We have our own style.

@ikip It is you who created the barnstars and uses them most frequently, you should be responsible to them. Those template layout should be changed to better fit the pz style instead of then just updating the barnstar table.

If you need any help about templates and pz styles, just ask here. And do not miss every message sent to you.
