What is Confirmed on the Tape Fairweather-Mahoney 2/11/93

Where a reporter does an interview asking him if he would do something about the Ohio River, which is one of the most polluted than any other river in America

But Fairweather just acts like he """""Cared""""" and is Dismissive of the issue and says he's waiting for the Environmental Experts to make Recommendations on what to do to clean up the Ohio River and a Bunch of Nonsense, and in the end he says this next too.verify

I don't agree, and I think those statements are unworthy of...
...a so-called "unbiased moderator".
I love Kentucky and its nature. Without nature, there's nothing left.
But it must be balanced with our profitable coal mining and other industries.
Mr. Mahoney's plan would devastate our state's - and maybe...
...even our country's - economy. What good would nature be to us then?

Which probably indicates that he only wants Nature so he can make money by extracting everything from it, in addition to obviously Speaking badly about his opponent Mahoney.

Trivia
*From what we can see on the tape. Cal doesn't care about the current state of Kentucky, and only cares about nature, so he can profit and make money. This is visible in Manhoney's Policy Announcement, which says that after 5 months of this "report" having been done, it fixes practically and absolutely NOTHING!
*At the beginning of the quarantine in Knox Country, Fairweather claims that he's in the "dark" like everyone else, making it unclear whether or not Fairweather had been informed of what had been occurring inside the quarantine.
*At the beginning of the quarantine in rural Kentucky where the Knox Infection started, he says he's in the "dark" like everyone else.
*Occasionally you can find trailers advertising Fairweather's electoral campaign.
*This tape was recorded 5 months before the events of Project Zomboid begins.
*Cal Fairweather was the last Governor of Kentucky, it's unclear whether Fairweather was able to flee to safety or had died like most of the population after the disease began to spread across the U.S and rest of the world.
*The player can randomly and rarely find a Dash Build with a Trailer attached to it, promoting its political image.
*Fairweather's election ad states that the military testing in the area had been going on for "thirty long years", suggesting that the testing had been going on there since the 1960s. His opponent during the election and experts claimed that the environment was becoming even more polluted. This suggests that the Knox Infection was potentially the result of a man-made ecological disaster.
*Cal Fairweather was the last Governor of Kentucky, before the entire world was wiped out by the Knox Infection. Most likely he died when the airborne variant started to affect everyone in neighboring states and the citizens of Louisville.
