You can access the world map by pressing 'M' by default. If the player is not playing apocalypse or has the option for mini-map chosen in sandbox, it is possible to click on the mini-map.

The player's world map starts as just a very small area of their immediate surroundings in Knox Country. As you explore, it will grow to include all areas you have visited. Additionally, with the appropriate items, you can annotate the map, adding symbols and notes as needed. Annotations will not appear on the mini-map. If the player dies and respawns with a new character, the information on their map will remain, including that gained from in-game map items.
