Water is a fundamental requirement for long-term survival. Zombies do not need water, or any other necessity that humans and other living creatures need.

Obtaining

Knox County's only water source comes from Faucets, Bathtubs, Toilets and Wells. There are no natural sources of water in Knox County.

Players must be holding an empty bottle or other type of water container to hold the water in their inventory, like empty coffee mugs, tea kettles and Cooking Pots. It is obtained by right-clicking the source and selecting fill <container>.

Containers

There are many different containers and each one hold a different amount of water, measured in arbitrary units but often referred to as "cups". For example, an Mug holds 1 unit and a Cooking Pot holds 25.

Usage

Mainly serving as a thirst-quencher, water can also be used as a soup ingredient in Cooking Pots or to make Bowls of Ramen Noodles using bowls of water.

In Farming, water is required to grow plants.
