Welcome to Project Locations and Maps, a PZwiki project that aims to improve, organise and keep up-to-date all articles relating to buildings and the maps.

Job board

Identify and improve the articles on the page: An easy way to get started - pick an article under "in need of improvement" and add text and/or pictures as you seem fit.
Add new pages for locations and maps if necessary: Many locations don't have dedicated articles, see the list ("articles needed") below. You can take existing locations as an example for what is sufficient info
If you are interested in helping out the project beyond adding an individual article or so: Consider choosing a town and successfully fill the gaps in the respective article.
Some towns already have a list of buildings with coordinates added for each building, others do not (see below). For these towns it is probably a good strategy to create such a list first, then proceed with information over the individual buildings.

Overview

Gas station: Appears to be outdated and is to specific, should be split up (e.g. Thunder Gas as a new article)
Businesses: Appears to outdated, and most likely very hard to maintain? Maybe a better idea to give a general overview over existing franchise with multiple location, and remove the main list

Towns

Rosewood: ~~Could use tables of buildings w/ name and ccoordinates, similar to the other towns (see e.g. Muldraugh)~~

Articles needed

Note that often locations have generic names (Church, Courthouse) that should probably be made town-specific upon article creation (e.g., Church (Rosewood), Courthouse (Muldraugh)) if applicable. In case you add an article with a town-specific title, make sure to update the link on the respective towns page/building list.

The general article (Church) could additionally give a general overview over different location for this type of building (see, e.g., Hit Vids! and Hit Vids! (Muldraugh)).
