Dead rats can be found in kitchen counters and ovens.

Trapping

Rats can usually be caught around farms, trailer parks and urban settings and rarely in forests. They are active all day and slightly rarer than mice.

They can only be caught using a mouse trap, and using cheese, processed cheese, peanut butter, chocolate, bacon bits, an apple, orange or tomato as bait.
