First Aid
Overview
First Aid is a crafting skill used to treat the player's injuries. As the skill level increases, the player will be able to treat wounds faster, make bandages last longer and evaluate the severity of wounds and infections. Experience is gained by players treating themselves or other players.
Usage
Treatment is carried out by right clicking on the body in the health status window, or right clicking the health status text if injuries are present. Treatment requires materials, even basic ones such as Ripped Sheets and/or Bourbon. Injuries are indicated by bleeding and/or injured moodles. First Aid will not reduce or change the chance of zombification from a zombie scratch or bite.

First Aid Flow
There are 5 types of injuries, basic treatment for any injury is a clean bandages and maintaining it, optionally but suggested to keep the chance of a wound infection at bay with disinfection. Treatment is also painful most of the time, even as the player's First Aid skill increases in level. The bandages should be cleaned with water in the inventory if it gets dirty.
- A minor injury such as scratches and lacerations. Bandage wound to stop bleeding, and change them when dirt to prevent wound infection.
- Injuries with Foreign matters such as glass shards and bullets. Use a tweezer to remove them, and use a needle and thread or a suture needle to stitch the deep wound after. Bandaging the stitched deep wound is optional, but doing so will slow down the healing speed.
- A fracture is treated with a splint. The fracture should be bandaged to maximum healing speed.
- A burn should be cleaned frequently with a ripped sheet, and treated like a normal injury, bandages disinfected and bandages applied.
Burns take much longer to heal than normal injuries.
