Welcome to the Build 42 preparation project, a PZwiki project that aims to prepare the wiki for the upcoming build 42 release.

Here we will list work that needs to be completed in preparation for the beta release, along with a list of features confirmed or expected to be included in Build 42, such as items/features currently unused, and to be added in build 42.

Prepare for build 42

This section includes templates/articles that need to be added or modified so features from build 42 can be added easier.

  • Start using "Workstation" terminology instead of "Furniture", E.g., oven.

  • Prepare to automate distribution table updates based on new code.
  • Investigate the possibility of using a bot to automatically update CodeBoxes.
    • Ensure all item code boxes follow formatting standards.
    • Working script by User:Calvy, waiting for verification after B42.
  • Investigate the possibility of automating infoboxes
  • Create a workstation page similar to item tags (practically impossible until B42 release).

Build 41 unused features

This section includes any features that are included in build 41 in some capacity, but are not yet used/functional. Note these features will change in build 42

    • Blacksmithing.
      • Update the page, redirect from blacksmithing?
      • Prepare a new guide.
      • Use existing code to build a new crafting page.
