Lorreta Green:

Hi there, fellow nerd! I'm Lorreta Green...
...and welcome to Muldraugh's best - and only - AV club!
Today we're talking about radio.
Radio and television work in the same way.
The source of the broadcast is transformed...
...into a signal which is then sent over the air...
...picked up on a receiver, and translated back into something...
...we humans can understand.
Let's take a screwdriver and look inside this old radio.
This blue chip is a radio receiver.
You might find a red transmitter chip in a walkie-talkie.
This little black thing is an amplifier.
That's what lets radios pick up long-distance signals.
Now, let's put it all back together. The trickiest part.
Hope you enjoyed my tutorial, fellow nerds!

Trivia

  • It is not known if this is the same Lorreta who appeared twice in 101.2 MHz KnoxTalk Radio or another woman with the same name.
