Louisville Central Park is the largest park in Louisville.

Overview

The park consists of winding pathways through dense forest land. There is a large parking area and picnic tables on the western side. The eastern side has a smaller parking lot, a park center building and talking area. The police mounted training unit is in the southwest section of the park. There is also a golf course in the northern area of the park.

The center of the park features some play areas and a bar. There is also a bridge over a small lake.

Location

It is located in the approximate geographical center of the city boundaries, and borders the train station to the west, Evergreen Hill to the east, South Louisville to the south, and central Louisville to the north.

Pros Cons
  • Access to water, a heat source, and building materials.
  • Minimal zombie activity.
  • Remote, yet close to the city center.
  • Hard to drive through the park itself.
  • Minimal loot.
  • Surrounded by high densities of zombies on every side.
