The garden hoe is a two-handed blunt melee weapon that can be used for farming.

Usage

Farming

The garden hoe's main purpose is as a farming tool, meaning it can be used to till dirt, allowing seeds to be sown.

Weapon

The garden hoe can also be used as a weapon, although it isn't particularly effective as one, making it best for farming. It has fairly long range though, meaning combat with it is safer than with shorter range weapons.

Attacks with the garden hoe will damage clothing on enemies.

Breaking doors

Garden hoes are somewhat effective at breaking down doors, dealing 10 damage per hit. For comparison, an axe deals 35 damage.

Chopping trees

The garden hoe only deals 1 damage to a tree per hit. For comparison, an axe deals 35 damage.

Condition

The garden hoe has a maximum condition of 10. Its rate of degradation is influenced by the long blunt and maintenance skills. The chance of losing durability can be simplified to the following formula: 1 in (10 + maintenanceMod × 2). Where "maintenanceMod" is calculated using the long blunt and maintenance skills.
