News Now Network, stylized as 3N, more commonly known as Triple-N is a television show and news station that the player can watch. It covers primarily the Knox Event and the politics of the United States as the game progresses. They go on air at 12 AM, 6 AM, 12 PM and 6 PM. There are three main employees, Kirsty Cormick (field), Joan (studio) and Judge Matt Hass. The company utilizes Franklin Valuline radio vans. Their studio is located exclusively in Louisville.

The following contains unhidden spoilers pertaining to the story of Project Zomboid. Proceed at your own risk.

Tripple-N starts by interviewing multiple people around the exclusion zone. They have a more skeptical view of the Knox Event than WBLM News. They also cover the statement given by General John McGrew and the President of The United States of America.

In an interview with Professor John Ramirez, the host attempts to get as much information as they can, while the professor claims it is classified. The host also questions a possible link to chemical testing in the area during the Vietnam war. This is denied by the professor.

Regular updates with Judge Matt Hass praise the army for their work, urging citizens that all is under control.

Day 4 begins with a heavily distorted segment. Later in the day a new segment begins, claiming that "The truth has emerged" before going to Kristy the on scene reporter.

Kirsty verifies reports of violence within the exclusion zone. She confirms that those infected with the Knox infection turn to violence before moving to an interview with an escapee from the exclusion zone. Day 4 ends with a statement from the channel about the Knox event and the danger of transmission.

Triple-N get an exclusive look inside the exclusion zone. They show an abandoned gas station and a women around the corner who used to work there. They describe her as being blank and angry before being interrupted by multiple rounds of gunfire. A loud growl is heard before the host screams and the segment ends.

They return later and confirm they have lost contact with Kristy. They then cover a huge crowd attacking the civilian camp from inside the event zone.

On day 6 Kristy returns with information about multiple instances of attacks from people that have been infected. Later she confirms that the Knox infection is spreading without fluid contact. A refugee confirms that her father was infected but had never even seen an infected person. At the end of this broadcast Kristy signs off with a cough. Day 6 ends with Judge Matt Hass calling for people to arm themselves and hide.

An audio recording from Kristy is played, she says that her camera man Duke had been infected, but it looks like some people are immune. She ends panicked, stating "they've seen me". Later it is broadcaster that similar symptoms have been found in the United Kingdom and Somalia.

On day 8 there are only two broadcasts. Both are unintelligible apart from the network sign off.

The next broadcast is not until day 11, when an automatic broadcast begins to play.

"This is a recorded broadcast. It will be set to repeat. An unknown plague known as The Knox Infection has taken a hold on America. It is... the stuff of nightmares. If you are still alive... If the fever didn't get to you... It all rests on you... Just please... Not now. Please not now. No. Please. Find a way to survive. Please. God Bless America."

This message repeats on day 12 and then no broadcast returns.

I am Joan. It's 48 hours since this all began.
A community laid low with an unknown illness.
A military perimeter set up almost overnight.
Then the rumors of civilian confusion and bizarre activity within the zone.
There are helicopters overhead, scientists in hazmat suits...
This county has been split in two, and folk are scared.

Interviewee:

My daughter and my grandchildren are in there!
I was staying at my fella's and... I was gonna go back but...
Phones are still out.
What's going on in there?
What's so bad they can't even pick up the phone?

Joan:

Well further to that interview...
Knox Telecommunications claim the lines are down for long-planned improvement works.

So what is it? I'm no scientist...
I didn't listen in class. Too busy on the Football field.
We know folks are ill.
We know it's widespread.
We know no-one could get out while the soldiers rolled on in.
We know they're back on their feet, but we also know there's confusion.
I'd be confused too, if I woke up and someone had built a military cordon round me!
But they've got scientists to talk to now. Guys in chemical suits.
They've got the best in the business. Heck, the world...
... in there to fix this whole thing up.
So let's support our boys, people.
This thing, let's call it 'The Knox Event', feels like a powder keg.
Too many people shouting 'conspiracy', hearing unverified gunshots.
No situation is perfect people.
This is a war. A war on whatever this thing is.

The outbreak of the 'non-lethal' Knox Event infection is still contained.
There's no word of 'illness' and 'confusion' outside the Event Zone.
There is, however, a panic.
There's fear in people's faces as they once again camp out...
... in school halls, trailers and Army tents.
It's more than two days now since these people heard the voices...
... of many of their families, loved ones and friends.

Interviewee:

They could be dead in there!
Sure, power and water are still on.
But what if they're too sick to eat?
I got told they've got scientists in there talking to them.
The guy said 'there's no way they're going hungry in there'.
But all we have is the word of these... dudes with guns!
Where the hell's the President in all this?
He should be down here with me! With me in this damn tent!

Joan:

It's a sad state of affairs down there.

Officials remain silent on the impact of an outbreak...

Kirsty:

A strange scene here south of Louisville.
Roads blocked by military vehicles.
Barriers and fences once intended for use overseas...
...deployed around a no-go area deep inside Kentucky.
And dead in the center?
The small towns of Muldraugh and West Point...
... and the bases and training facilities of the Army itself.
I'm here in a camp of displaced families, and they're angry.

We just want to go home. That's all!

What's the worst thing they could do?

Kirsty:

Thank you Joan.
General John McGrew has confirmed 'panic' and 'confusion' inside the Zone.
With NO confirmation of the violent scenes some claim to have witnessed.
And still no reasoning behind the communication blackout:

McGrew:

I am making this statement at 11AM on the 14th July 1993.
There are many rumors circulating. Many falsehoods.
This is an appeal for calm.
I can confirm there has been an outbreak.
The ailment is, as yet, unidentified.
It is flu-like. It leads to panic. It leads to confusion.
There is NO evidence of fatalities within the Exclusion Zone.
We are using judged and judicious force to maintain the border.
Warning shots have been fired.
No civilians have been harmed.
We must ensure that this infection is not allowed to spread.
I am in hourly contact with the President on this matter.
The no-fly zone will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
At this time, we will take no questions.

Kirsty:

Are the General's responses enough for America?
Those forced to stay in Army issue tents around me...

When he says there have been no fatalities from the infection - he means it.

This precautionary exclusion zone is there to protect us.
I'm sorry for the people inside. Truly I am.
Running a fever, feeling confused, being trapped...
But this is clearly in the nation's interest.
The greater good.
I've heard a lot of people asking - 'Why can't we know?'
Why can't the Government just say: 'Here's the problem'?

Republicans in the building behind me are in uproar today.
Their problem? The 'do nothing' agenda of the President.
To many, the President's address yesterday simply was not enough:

This is a distressing time.
The situation in Kentucky is unexpected and saddening.

This is Triple-N.
Flu-like'. 'Panic'. 'Confusion'.
An unknown communicable illness that has cut through Kentucky communities...
...forcing evacuations, and the creation of a huge exclusion zone.
Yet STILL no concrete word on what the Knox Event is, or how it spreads.
Worse? Revelations from a Dr Jack Galbraithe - a former scientist with the CDC.
He's reported as saying: 'America is not ready for this'.
'We haven't been ready for a long time.'
How does that sound to you on the ground at the Event boundary, Kirsty Cormick?

Kirsty:

Well Joan, it's exactly that sort of rumor that's not helping.
People just don't know what to do, and the military don't know what to do with them.
Some have been taken to Louisville - but most?
They want to stay - in tents, in local buildings. This is their home.
Or, at least as near to their homes as the Army will allow them.
And they're angry. Real angry.

They're not tellin' us nothing!
Every day like the last!
I got a business in there, in West Point!
I got a home! A family!
I've got a dog too, and they took it for no reason at all!

Can you describe the illness that's spreading in there?

Prof. Ramirez:

I'm sorry, but that's all classified.
I can confirm, though, that it's a fever. And initial symptoms can turn to panic and confusion.
We have experts on-site.

Joan:

And what of the rumors of violence inside the Exclusion Zone?

Prof. Ramirez:

We've got the spread of the illness contained...
...and the best minds we've got working on it.
Right now we have NO reason to believe folks won't recover.
The way this started was highly contagious.
And that's why we, quickly and efficiently, locked the place down.

Joan:

During the Vietnam War there was a lot of chemical testing conducted in this area.
Is there a link?

Prof. Ramirez:

We don't think so, no ma'am.

The State Department has underlined that the Knox Event is contained.

The Knox Event is, to all intents of purpose, contained.
However.
Tests on those recovering from the Knox sickness are inconclusive.
We have labs set up inside the Zone now.

The NYPD are using water cannons, but NNN can also reveal we've seen...

Reports are coming in of military convoys moving from bases and into the heart of major cities.
This is the President's statement in full:

I, personally, take responsibility for the perceived lack of communication.
